Frequently Asked Questions?

The cost depends on which therapies you need and for how many days. Most therapies at AMRUT AYU CARE™ cost ₹400 to ₹2,500 per sitting. After your consultation, the doctor gives you a written plan with the number of sittings and the total fee before you start. Examples: leech therapy ₹500 per leech, Netra Tarpan ₹1,000 (both eyes), Janu Basti ₹1,200 (both knees) and Shirodhara with oil ₹1,500 per sitting. Our Panchakarma rate list page shows the rate for all 116 therapies.

Uttar Basti costs ₹4,000 per sitting (intrauterine) and ₹5,000 per sitting (urethral) at AMRUT AYU CARE™. The doctor confirms the number of sittings after reading your reports and examining you, and you receive the total before treatment begins. Uttar Basti is planned alongside your gynaecologist or fertility specialist, never in place of them.

Yes. You consult for piles, fissure and fistula at our Wagholi clinic, where the doctor examines you and plans Ayurvedic Medicine and diet changes. If Kshar Sutra is needed, it is performed at our Ghorpadi or Manjri Bk, Hadapsar centre. Rectal bleeding always needs an examination first.

The Wagholi centre is a consultation clinic, not a hospital, and it does not admit patients. You meet the doctor here for assessment, Ayurvedic Medicine and a care plan, and leech therapy is also done here. If a Panchakarma programme is advised, the sessions happen at our Ghorpadi or Manjri Bk, Hadapsar centre.

The Wagholi clinic runs Monday to Saturday, 5 PM to 6 PM. Consultations are by appointment, so please call or WhatsApp 8698282507 before you come. Online video consultations are available on other days and times.

Our Wagholi clinic is on the first floor of Vighnaharta Hospital, Kesnand Road, near KK Pedha, Wagholi, Pune 412207. It serves Wagholi, Kesnand, Lohegaon, Dhanori and Vadgaon Sheri. Call or WhatsApp 8698282507 to book.

Book a video slot by calling or messaging 8698282507, and send your reports on WhatsApp before the call. The doctor takes your full history, reviews the reports and sends you a written care plan with diet and routine advice. Your Ayurvedic Medicine is couriered to your address. Online consultations serve patients across India and abroad. Follow-up reviews happen by video every few weeks.

Each leech is used once, for one patient, and then disposed of as medical waste. The doctor assesses every patient before therapy. Patients of any age are treated with consent, and a parent or guardian consents for a child. Leech therapy costs ₹500 per leech per sitting and is done at our Ghorpadi, Manjri Bk, Hadapsar and Wagholi centres.

Suvarnaprashan is given to children on Pushya Nakshatra days, which fall roughly once a month. The dates for the year are listed on our Suvarnaprashan page. Call or WhatsApp 8698282507 to book a slot and confirm the centre and timing for the next date.

Our specialty OPD runs through the week. Monday is for digestion, Tuesday for skin and hair, and Wednesday for sleep and stress. Thursday covers joint and back pain, Friday men's and women's health, and Saturday lifestyle health. Sunday is a support-care clinic for patients under cancer treatment, alongside their oncologist, by appointment. Both doctors consult every day.

No. We never ask patients to stop prescribed medicines. Bring your current prescriptions and recent reports to the first visit. The doctor plans Ayurvedic care to work alongside your existing treatment, and any change to a prescription stays with the doctor who prescribed it.

Most patients describe mild cramping for a short while, similar to period discomfort, rather than sharp pain. A qualified physician performs it under sterile conditions. Before the first sitting, our team explains the warning signs to watch for afterwards, such as fever or worsening pain. Your recent reports are reviewed before Uttar Basti is planned.

Most Panchakarma programmes run 7, 14 or 21 days. The length depends on your condition, your strength and the therapies the doctor selects. Preparation days with internal oleation and a light diet come before the main therapy. You receive the full day-by-day schedule at your consultation, before you commit to anything.

Panchakarma is Ayurveda's five-part cleansing and rejuvenation therapy: Vamana (therapeutic emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal therapy) and Raktamokshana (bloodletting, including leech therapy). At AMRUT AYU CARE™, a doctor assesses you first and then chooses only the therapies you need. Full Panchakarma runs at our Ghorpadi and Manjri Bk, Hadapsar centres.
