Pottali Steam ( Local ) Pinda sweda uses rice/ herbal powders tied in a cloth to make small boluses (Pottali). These are then heated and lightly pounded/rubbed over the body or specific parts of the body as per requirement. Benefits: It is very helpful to increase the overall strength of the body. It is also helps to improve the muscle bulk. It also tonnes the skin and muscles. It specifically strengthens the joints like shoulder, neck and lumbar spine etc. How it works: It helps to reduce Vata dosha. It is very helpful in blood related Vata disorders. Most of the herbs used are strengthening. Recommended in: Asthama, frozen shoulder, weight loss etc. Contraindications:: Pitta prakruti with heat sensitive body, skin diseases like eczema and psoriasis. Duration of Treatment : 20 mins

JANU BASTI

Special Oleation of knees A small well is prepared out of black gram/ wheat dough and lukewarm medicated oil is poured in it. It is kept for specific duration and recommended for continuous 7 days for best results. Benefits: Janu Basti is used in the treatment of knee joint conditions. It helps to reduce pain and stiffness in knee joints. It is also helpful to improve restricted movements of joints. How it works: The quantity of oil and its warmth pacify Vata dosha. It helps to lubricate the joints, strengthens the ligaments and tendons, relaxes the musculature and improves tone. ABHYANGAM

Abhyangam is the whole body massage done with Ayurvedic medicated oils. It is done classically with long flowing strokes. Number and pressure of strokes as well as selection of oil varies, based on your Prakruti / body constitution and health conditions. Benefits: Abhyangam helps in body relaxation and is beneficial in body ache and pain. It helps to induce sound sleep, improves muscle consistency by reducing body stiffness.
