Ayurvedic Fertility Care Clinic in Pune: What to Expect

How the Friday OPD works for couples, what a first visit involves, and how to judge any Ayurvedic fertility clinic before you book.

Key Takeaways
The Friday Men and Women Health OPD at AMRUT AYU CARE sees both partners together. Dr. Amruta Amrutkar, M.D. Ayurveda, leads women's care; Dr. Prashant Amrutkar, M.D., PhD Scholar, leads men's care and the Panchakarma theatre.
A first visit starts with your existing reports: ultrasound, hormone panels, tubal imaging and a semen analysis. Ayurvedic assessment of Prakriti, digestion, cycles and sleep follows.
Care is built in layers: Ayurvedic Medicine, diet and routine for both partners first, then Panchakarma procedures such as Uttar Basti or Basti only where indicated.
Ayurvedic fertility care runs alongside your gynaecologist's or fertility specialist's plan, including IVF. It never replaces any advised treatment.
AMRUT AYU CARE does not publish or promise a conception rate. Outcomes vary by age, cause and individual.
Read this first. Difficulty conceiving needs a medical workup before any Ayurvedic plan. Ultrasound, tubal imaging, hormone panels and a semen analysis belong with your gynaecologist or fertility specialist, and our plan is built on those reports. Before you book anywhere, check that the clinic does not promise a pregnancy, quote a conception percentage, or ask you to stop a specialist's treatment.

Your first visit

What Happens at the First Visit

Reports first
Bring every report and every current medicine for both partners. The physician reads them before anything else and says plainly if a case needs the specialist's plan first.
Both partners assessed
Prakriti, digestion (Agni), sleep, stress, cycle history for women and a semen analysis for men. Fertility is read as shared, not as one partner's problem.
A written plan
Ayurvedic Medicine, Pathya diet and routine for both partners, with the timing set around your cycle and any IVF calendar.
Procedures only where indicated
Uttar Basti, Basti courses or Virechana are considered after assessment, never on request and never as a fixed package. They run at Ghorpadi or Manjri Bk, Hadapsar.
Review each cycle
Medicine and plan adjusted at every visit, with your specialist kept informed where you want us to.
Care in layers

What Care Includes

Ayurvedic Medicine
Classical formulations such as Phala Ghrita and Shatavari-based preparations for women, and Rasayana and Shukra-supporting preparations for men, prescribed to the assessment.
Diet and daily routine
Pathya (personalized diet), sleep timing and stress care, written down for both partners and kept practical.
Panchakarma where indicated
Uttar Basti for selected uterine and cycle presentations, Basti courses for Vata patterns, Virechana where Pitta is involved. Case by case.
Timing with your specialist
Support care in the cycles before IVF stimulation, never during stimulation or after transfer, and always with the fertility specialist informed.
Full Panchakarma, including Uttar Basti, runs at our Ghorpadi and Manjri Bk, Hadapsar branches. Wagholi offers in-person consultation. Kharadi and Viman Nagar consult online.

How to Judge Any Ayurvedic Fertility Clinic

These checks apply to us as much as to anyone else. Ask them before you book anywhere.

Qualified doctors
M.D. Ayurveda physicians with a registration you check, who examine both partners and read your reports.
No promises
No conception rate, no promised result, no testimonial that claims one. Outcomes vary, and an honest clinic says so.
Works with your specialist
Never asks you to stop, delay or drop a gynaecologist's or fertility specialist's advice, including IVF.
Clear on cost and time
The plan and its cost are explained before anything starts, and procedures are advised only where indicated.

Questions patients ask

Frequently Asked Questions

Do both partners need to come?

Yes, for the first visit. Fertility is read as shared, and half the plan is the man's. Later reviews are arranged around each partner's schedule.

What reports should we bring?

Everything you have: ultrasound, tubal imaging, hormone panels, a recent semen analysis, and any IVF records. If none exist yet, the physician tells you which to arrange with your gynaecologist before a plan is made.

Does Ayurvedic care work alongside IVF?

Yes, and only alongside. Your fertility specialist leads the IVF plan. Support care is timed in the cycles before stimulation, never during it or after transfer, and we never advise delaying an IVF step.

Do you publish a conception rate?

We do not publish one, and we advise caution with any clinic that does. Conception depends on age, cause and the couple, and a single percentage would mislead more than it informs. Expected outcomes are discussed case by case, after reading your reports.

How long does care take?

Plans are reviewed cycle by cycle. Most run across three or more cycles, with Ayurvedic Medicine and routine first and procedures added only where indicated. The physician confirms the length at the first visit.

What does it cost?

Fees follow the plan: consultation for both partners, Ayurvedic Medicine, and any procedures advised. An intrauterine Uttar Basti sitting costs ₹4,000. The full plan and its cost are confirmed at consultation, before anything starts.

Which branch should we visit?

Ghorpadi (Main) and Manjri Bk, Hadapsar run full Panchakarma including Uttar Basti. Wagholi offers in-person consultation. Kharadi and Viman Nagar patients consult online, with procedures scheduled at Ghorpadi or Hadapsar.
